One point against Sweden… it really sucks carrying everything you need for a party, and walking all over town! This would have been so much easier with a car!

Got up this morning and started getting ready for the big party tonight… Election Party!! Went into the city first to buy a flash. I forgot my big flash in the states and have already missed it a couple times, so I got a small flash at a nice camera store. Then walked further into the city to go to the Systembolaget, the government run liquor store. That’s a story for another time. Then walked over to the American store to pick up peanut butter, a can of Mountain Dew, and 2 cans of A&W Root Beer! I have a couple classmates that have never had root beer. And then… I walked all through downtown to get to school for a lecture at 3pm. Ugh!!

Most of the walking I had my jacket off, even though it was drizzling and cold. And for those that know me, yes, I was sweating. But now I am at school, relaxing, drinking some coffee. I think I am all ready for the party tonight… peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, beer, hotdogs, root beer… Yup, all ready!
